7:11- Dear God, when does spin class end?
7:20- Spin class is over. That wasn’t so bad.
8:00- Time to tuck the boys in to bed.
9:00- I need to blog to keep my streak alive.
Part of the reason I wanted to run through the tick tock of my day was to fill some space in the blog and keep the streak alive. But I also wanted to take a look at my day. Jesus has told me that he would like me to live life and live it to the fullest (John 10:10). I don’t know that I’m always so good at that. Did I live life to the absolute fullest? Have I gone as hard and as deep into the life of Christ as I am able? Were there areas where I could have gone a little bit bigger?
And for what it’s worth, I don’t even think that means that I need to be “on” all the time. I don’t think living life to the fullest is to red-line our efforts every single moment of the day. I think I can live life to the fullest, even when I’m napping on the couch. But I know I can live a deeper life. I know I can live a ten ten kind of life.
How can you live a little bit more tomorrow?
