Friday Three Stars

Welcome back to an old J-Blog tradition! Each week, we will comb through the stories shared here on the J-Blog and around the internet to bring you the very finest of offerings. If you think someone else should have been nominated for a star, leave their name/feat of strength in the comments below. Here are this week's winners:

3rd Star: Leon Bridges/Ed Horey

My good friend Ed Horey shared this new album with me this week, and I absolutely could not believe that this album was new. Bridges brings a soulful sound to life, and I've been rocking out to it all week long at work and coffee shop.

2nd Star: Bike Pittsburgh

Sunday this week I took to the streets of Pittsburgh for Pedal PGH, a grueling 62.5 mile ride through the hills of the city. I climbed every hill, coasted to the bottom, and then climbed some more. But Bike Pittsburgh does a lot to help the infrastructure of biking around the city, which is desperately needed. Kudos guys!

1st Star: The History Channel

Netflix has an entire series on the Presidents, and the nerd in me has been alive and awake every single night when I've come home from work. The men who have occupied that office are deep and complex and interesting, so I've been sucked in. I made it up through the Civil War, and I'm excited to keep going!

Have a happy weekend everyone!
